Forsthaus Oesede in Georgsmarienhutte

Beautifully located in the Teutoburg Forest. Here you can go hiking and then eat or drink something, or both.

I ordered there a few days ago and I was a bit disappointed because each of the three schnitzel was actually very mixed. Otherwise it was delicious and the service was good and friendly.

Was very nice. Delicious cake, friendly service. The only thing that bothered me was the many wasps, but the forestry team can't help.

Absolute insider tip in the Teutoburg Forest! It's a good thing that this top location survived the Corona crisis. In a Forsthaus ambience, the operator offers guests excellent German cuisine, with the seasonal dishes also being offered. A Riesling from the Moselle is particularly recommended. The service and the cook take pleasure in the work and pass it on to the guests.

The service was great and despite the certain circumstances and rules everything worked out! The food was very tasty for all of us, even as a vegan you can find something here :) I can only recommend it !!

Lovely food

Herb lamb bag was delicious. But the food in general was delicious (I had it said from my table neighbors). The ambience is nothing special. No upscale atmosphere.

Always delicious! We have been here many times, always with long hikes on the Ahornweg, and have never been disappointed. Great!

Very good food with friendly service and nice ambience. The toilets could be renovated, but are very clean.

After a hike or a walk, you can strengthen yourself and enjoy nature around it. The menu sounds delicious and it also offers daily specials or weekly dishes. We had Vitello Tonnato for starters and were a bit surprised by the preparation. The calf slices were very thick and the tuna sauce was not pureed, so you had thick tuna pieces. The taste was quite good-but we have eaten much better and would rather say that this is still in need of improvement or be renamed with "style of the house". The lamb was ok too - but we did not steal our taste. Unfortunately, the sauce was very liquid and with a lot of cream. The pike-perch fillet was good - but unfortunately salted. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambience inside is already getting old. In itself, we would still recommend the restaurant, if you are in the vicinity.

Here is still cooked with love, that looks and tastes you. Operation super nice and attentive! The best I have ever eaten !!!! The rustic ambience invites more. We'll be back ???

After a 5-hour hike through the beautiful Teutoburg Forest, we arrived at 5.30 pm for dinner at the Forsthaus. Unfortunately, everything was reserved in the restaurant, whereupon we sat down in the beer garden. The friendly service has pointed out that it could take a little longer, because it is very busy. Despite all, drinks and the really delicious food came quickly. The value for money is completely okay. Also the dishes in the menu are something different. Very nice atmosphere and nice waitresses. Also vegetarian and vegan dishes. The menu is not complete in the photos. There are still casseroles and other dishes. Based on the recommendations and our experience you should reserve a table here, which in my opinion speaks for the quality.
